Evaluation by the internship students of the museum

During this course we initiated a programme of internships which responded, on the one hand, to the commitment of the museum towards collaborating in an active way in the training of future professionals, and on the other, aimed at promoting learning through experience in the professional fields that are carried out in the museum. The experience has been very fruitful for the staff of the museum and we believe that has also been so for our internship students! Results of the workshop of engraving and printing

This November we held, in collaboration with the Cercle Artístic Sant Lluc, a workshop of engraving and printing. The workshop, imparted by Rosa Permanyer, took as its starting point the engravings of the work of Picasso, while experimenting with the dry point technique and other more innovative ones such as Polyester Plate Lithography. We’re from the neighbourhood! New “Neighbourhood Projects” during the 2013-14 course

This 2013-14 academic year, at the Department of Education and Activities we have once again worked with the schools of Ciutat Vella, within the framework of our “Neighbourhood Projects”. As in the previous projects that we have carried out, the objectives have been to widen our services beyond the school visit, turning ourselves into a useful tool for the schools in the surrounding area, and above all to get closer to the children in our neighbourhood: that the museum (and the people that work there) is for them a familiar place, where they have a significant and valuable experience.
